  • Overview

    This position is designed to provide various experiences within the field of stationary operating engineering. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week starting in mid-June and ending in August.


    • Assist with interior room paint projects, touch up work orders, or service requests as directed
    • Work to maintain accurate work order and project board trackers
    • Complete organizational assignments directed by the Chief Engineer to include assisting with maintenance shop organization and clean up
    • Provide daily and timely status, informational and progress updates to Chief Engineer
    • Responsible for the timely completion of painting work orders, including basic routine service requests
    • In collaboration with others, coordinate an efficient painting check off board
    • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required


    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software
    • Ability to follow directions
    • Must have excellent customer service standards
    • Good organizational and communication skills

    Requires frequent lifting and moving of up to 75 pounds when using machinery and equipment for essential maintenance tasks. Requires frequent bending and/or stooping to access equipment and machinery necessary for essential maintenance tasks. Also requires frequent use of ladders and stepladders to access equipment and machinery necessary for essential maintenance tasks.
