    Director of Marketing and will work closely with the Senior Vice President on the strategic direction for all components of Peak’s corporate and property brands and digital strategy.  This position is responsible for the overall development, execution, and success of the national marketing and leasing platform while also managing the set-up, launch, and effective execution of marketing and leasing activities for new developments, transitions, and critical apartment assets. 


    Ideal candidate is innovative, in sync with marketing trends, creative, a strategic thinker, articulate, able to problem solve and lead/develop a team to maximize individual and team performance with a collaborative spirit.


    This position is required to be based out of our corporate office in Atlanta, GA.  Minimal travel required.  


    • Develop Marketing goals and objectives to support Peak’s strategic business plan
    • Lead the ongoing development of the Peak corporate brand and individual property brands to ensure consistency, relevance and a strong reputation across a national portfolio; develop a bottom-up strategic review of the brand and always ensure that it is strong and consistently messaged.
    • Hire, develop and provide coaching and mentoring for direct reports
    • Develop and implement marketing plans including oversight and support of social media, websites, email marketing, advertising, promotions, printed collateral material, signage, print ads, outreach print materials, sponsorship materials, leasing center staging support, online reputation management, online classifieds, satisfaction surveys, lead-to-lease tracking through CRM, advertising analytics, international marketing, and vendor relationships
    • Maintain knowledge and awareness of marketing trends in print, online and other marketing mediums
    • Support the SVP to develop and manage the Marketing overhead budget
    • Cultivate relationships with outside agencies and vendors to support the marketing plan
    • Monitor, track effectiveness and negotiate pricing; ensure consistent and effective results.
    • Assist and advise other departments on various initiatives to benefit company and department goals
    • Support training efforts and play a major planning and execution role at conferences.
    • Delegate and assign responsibilities as needed to direct reports
    • Support the SVP for PR/Media Management as needed


    • Marketing or related degree or equivalent professional qualification
    • Relevant product and industry knowledge
    • Experience with data collection, benchmarking, analysis and reporting
    • Direct experience with search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), Google Analytics and ILS management
    • Direct experience with social media management
    • High degree of proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel
    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
    • Field and Management level experience in apartment industry required
    • Relevant apartment industry experience with a focus on sales, marketing and leasing required
