    This position will be responsible for supporting Peak’s talent acquisition and performance management objectives. The Manager of Talent and Performance will lead the sourcing and selection process for corporate and field positions, coach our managers through leadership challenges, and ensure alignment with Peak’s culture and mindset. This position will report to the Director of People Operations.



    • Ensure successful execution of talent acquisition strategy at both the Corporate and property level.
    • Source, screen, interview and recommend candidates for open corporate and field positions.
    • Design, develop, and implement sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates and build a long term community of prospective candidates.
    • Support hiring managers by understanding business context and needs, providing feedback and implementing talent solutions.
    • Partner with marketing to develop and maintain Peak’s employment brand to attract candidates, maintain our reputation and standing in the industry, and ensure consistency across a national portfolio.
    • Ensure that communications and marketing contribute meaningfully to the company’s people goals while stimulating innovative, creative, and proactive thinking.
    • Coach managers to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of employees,
    • Mediate and encourage open lines of communication during disputes between employees and their supervisors; promote effective conflict resolution.
    • Manage the Peak Performance Review process; 90 day reviews, check-ins, goal setting and annual appraisals.
    • Maintain favorable and effective relations among employees at all levels.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
    • Assist on applicable legal and risk related matters.
    • Approve employee terminations.
    • Manage applicant system administration – requisition maintenance, job postings, candidate record creation, disposition of candidates, and maintenance of letters and communications.
    • Evaluate and analyze data and metrics to ensure the effectiveness of the People Operations function.
    • Stay informed of industry trends and innovative recruiting techniques.
    • Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges and universities as a source to generate qualified applicants.
    • Participate in developing departmental goals, objectives and systems.



    • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study is required.  PHR or SPHR preferred.
    • A minimum of three years full-cycle recruitment experience or agency recruitment experience.
    • Two year of employee relations experience with a multi-state employer preferred.
    • Advanced level skills in social media.
    • Must be sales oriented and have experience in a high volume cold calling environment.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in coaching managers through performance issues.
    • Proven skills in client relationship building, critical thinking, and verbal and written communications.
    • Strong partnering skills with demonstrated knowledge of managing within the law and applying HR best practices to business needs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Must have experience working with an applicant tracking system; iCims experience preferred.
    • Outstanding service orientation; sense of urgency; high level of personal integrity.
    • Strong skills in candidate pipeline generation.
    • Knowledge with planning and processes in attending, exhibiting, and speaking at events/ conferences
